Does anyone know anything about this fascinating piece of history?? I've always been very curious about the interiors/history of the place but don't know much about it.

The only Amity that I'm very familiar with is the one on Long Island, NY. Is this the same one that you are talking about? Or have I missed something completely?

The Amity Hall I'm referring to is on the outskirts of Harrisburg, Pa. The interstate highway was built and made Amity Hall a ghost town (no pun intended). There is an old inn there that has been boarded up for years. I can't find anything on the web about it except for a brief piece saying that teenagers and vandals were breaking into the abandoned property...just wondering if anyone could supply any info since I've heard it does indeed have dark elements attached to it.

Yep...aside from the seemlingly "forever later" post I have indeed missed something so completely it almost hurts...so I'm in the same boat with ya Angie...anyone out there, Send us the info on this place!

Hello folks..
I'm compiling info on abandoned places in Pennsylvania. And one of the first places I been working on happens to be Amity Hall.. Feel free to check out the info I have on it here. Abandoned Pennsylvania I have some Exterior photos I've taken as well as some historical archive photos, I'm currently trying to contact the current owner/owners for full legal interior access for a photo shoot. I'm doing this from a straight forward approach more-so then a paranormal investigation. Any thing in that field that pops up of course will be a plus. Feel free to add any info you have on any of the locations I have listed thus far or any you'd like to see done. |
