Does anyone know any good haunted places around Schuylkill County. I go out ghost hunting and all wiht a group of people. We tried the Gordon Mountains and nothing ever happened. I heard of a park and a road to another part in llewellan sumtin like that. I would love to get proof of real ghost happenings. Im going to Pine Grove to this haunted house not sure exactly im going wiht my buddies. A man was construction this house and died by hanging himself. The rope is still hanging in the attick. Also a lady moved into that house and was possessed by the guy who hung himself. Also there is a piano that plays out of no where so im going there to spend the night. Im also taking a venture to the Weatherly Cem. It is said to be very haunted by somehting. And people have seen pentagrams floating and all. So i wanna check that out. Down the road from that it is said to be a stone couch. If you sit on this couch the first time you bleed, a second you break a bone not right away but soon after u sit. and a third you are supposed to die sometime. I have people who know about that and who tried it and says its true. My friends dad did it two times and shortly after that he went into the army and broke his back somehow. Freaky.
The legend behind the couch from what ive read is that i believe when the indians roamed this area a young girl with her baby was running away from a demon of some sort and stumbled onto the couch there. The lady gave up the baby for her own life and smashed the kids head off the stone. If you sit on the stone couch you hear the screaming of hte baby and the crying of the lady. Dont know how true this is but its a little scary from what people told me.
