I think that one of the scariest places that I have ever seen was this bed & breakfast. My research tells me that the foundation was originally a French outpost in the 1740's.When the British came into the area in 1758,General Forbes hanged a man(teamster)who was a French spy on this spot and buried him there. In 1764 after the area was finally settled,a second floor was built over the foundation, and the place became a tavern.Being on the frontier, the place also doubled as a courthouse where people were hanged as well.Anyhoo, the whole place gives me bad vibes whenever I just drive by it on the turnpike.Enter at your own risk!
